Our Wedding Service

We would be happy to redesign any of our packages and prices to your specific requirements, all packages are flexible, please contact us for a firm quote.

Generally prices include photography from the bridal preparations, groom and groomsmen at the ceremony, ceremony and family shots afterwards, as many locations as time permits, and the first 10-30 minutes of the reception, although you are free to use your allocated time as you wish. Please note there is a 4 hour minimum coverage ($1350) and we will not provide quotes for wedding photography with a shorter time frame as it's not in anybody's interest to only do "half a job". A wedding is a big commitment between two people and deserves to be recorded appropriately.

Experience

As we have dealt with hundreds of couples over the last 19 years we know which shots to take, and more importantly which shots not to forget! Only the other day I read a forum post by a recent bride who while she loved her wedding pictures said "but I would have really like a shot of me with each of my bridesmaids". Really??! I'm kind of surprised her photographer didn't know this, but inexperienced photographers are everywhere. For us this would have been just one of hundreds of "must-have" sequences that we capture at each and every wedding. Of course that's not all we shoot, there are always those candid, spur of the moment images that we must stay attuned for, yet we still have the basics covered!

Editing.

While modern DSLR cameras do a fantastic job there is no image that can't be improved by a little tweaking on the computer. Editing images is not just sorting the wheat from the chaff, although that's important, but adjusting contrast, saturation and colour for maximum impact. With over 300 images from every wedding this process takes many hours, but is vital if your images are to look their best in print or on the web. Our colour images are then re-assessed and a good many (80-120) are then made black and white, sepia, antique, cross-processed or even some of the custom effects we have created in-house, depending on what we think would best suit the image. Some images look better in black and white, some are better left colour, it just depends!

Training.

Our 3 photographers are trained by an accredited AIPP member. (How would an untrained photographer know what's important?) They know the images to capture, and how to do so while dealing in a polite and friendly manner with the bridal party and all the guests at the wedding. They also dress appropriately for a wedding, no scruffy photographers here!

Service.

Your wedding images are online in a password-protected web gallery for you to view and share with family and friends and also as high-resolution copies on a DVD data disc within 10 days of the wedding, and usually within a week. Guaranteed. I don't know how many times we've met with couples who have said "but my sister/brother/cousin are still waiting for their pictures and they got married xx months ago." Not good enough!
